Maserati Levante suspension feels harsh – should I upgrade the shocks? - loganhughes - 04-03-2026

I've had my Levante for about two years now and the ride has always been a bit on the firm side, but lately it feels like every expansion joint on SZR is sending a jolt through my spine. I'm pretty sure the original shocks are just worn out at 90k km, but I'm not sure whether to just replace them with OEM or look into something aftermarket that might improve comfort without killing the handling. I've been researching Maserati premium shock absorber replacement service options around Dubai, and I see some places offer upgraded dampers that claim to be more compliant for daily driving. Has anyone here actually made the switch on a Levante or Ghibli? I don't want to throw money at something that ends up feeling exactly the same or worse. Also curious if any shop will let me test drive a similar car with the upgraded setup before I commit. Appreciate any real-world feedback.
