Maijā es sāku domāt par to, kā es uztveru nejaušību. Dzīvē viss ir nejaušs. Mēs nevaram kontrolēt visu. Bet mēs varam kontrolēt to, kā mēs reaģējam uz notikumiem. Spēles man to ir iemācījušas. Tu vari zaudēt, tu vari laimēt, bet galvenais ir tas, kā tu jūties pēc tam. Es esmu iemācījies nezaudēt galvu, kad zaudēju, un neļaut laimestam mani pacelt pārāk augstu. Tas ir līdzsvars, kas man palīdz arī ikdienas dzīvē.

Jūnijā es devos atvaļinājumā uz laukiem. Tur bija daudz brīva laika, un es dažreiz spēlēju no sava telefona. Tas bija interesanti, jo apkārtne bija pilnīgi citādāka. Oktobrī es nolēmu nedaudz samazināt spēlēšanas biežumu. Es gribēju koncentrēties uz citām lietām. Bet es atklāju, ka man tā pietrūkst. Tas nav tāpēc, ka es būtu atkarīgs. Tas ir tāpēc, ka tas man sniedz prieku. Tāpēc es atgriezos pie tā, bet ar jaunu pieeju. Es sāku spēlēt retāk, bet ar lielāku baudu. Tas man lika saprast, ka viss ir atkarīgs no tā, kā tu to dari.

Novembrī atkal pienāca laiks, kad ārā bija tumšs un auksts. Es atcerējos savu pirmo pieredzi ar vavada online casino. Tas bija pirms gada.
