Finally picked up my dream Corvette last month and I'm absolutely loving it, but the dealer-installed swirl marks from their "complimentary wash" are driving me crazy every time the sun hits the hood. I've been reading up on paint correction and ceramic coating, but I'm super picky about who touches this car because the body lines are so sharp and the clear coat feels different from the German cars I've owned before. A buddy mentioned looking into Corvette premium detailing and polishing Abu Dhabi, but he hadn't actually used them himself so I'm hoping someone here has real experience. I don't want to be that guy who shows up with a checklist and breathing down their neck, but I also don't want to find out they used a rotary polisher on the carbon fiber bits. Has anyone had their C7 or C8 properly corrected and coated locally? How was the attention to detail around the vents and the rear diffuser area? Would love to hear about specific shops that won't cut corners just because it's "just another sports car".
