A small religious institution near my friend’s home was close to cutting its classes because the building needed repairs and attendance was falling. A few donors stepped in, covering the urgent work and funding youth activities. Now the center runs weekend lessons, a mentoring group, and community dinners. My friend says the biggest change is that young people finally feel it belongs to them too.
