Deep questions from kids can be a great sign, but the wrong church can shut that down quick. Our son started asking about faith after our third move, and the first church we tried here just told him to wait until he was older. A parent at his school mentioned find a church in Prescott AZ , so we went one Sunday. The kids' class actually let them ask anything, and the teachers engaged instead of brushing them off. Our son came home talking about what he learned, not what he was told to memorize. We met a few parents after service who were dealing with the same questions, and that helped more than we expected. It felt thoughtful and real, so I'd give it a couple of Sundays.
