I began my channel in the entertainment/comedy niche but I have seen a lot of the discussion about the impact of niche on youtube income per 1000 views. In India, it seems that content from finance, tech and business pages generates 3-4 times more views per click than entertainment.
I have about 8k subscribers. Is it too early to turn to personal finance or tech content? What will YouTube's algorithm do with it? Will it be treated as a new channel or will my subscribers or viewers have an influence?
As I was watching BoostBySocial's YouTube growth strategy, I was curious whether or not it is indeed possible to successfully shift a niche over time.
